Campaign Kick Off

Laura Bergus announced her candidacy for city council in Iowa City. She will kick off her campaign with a public meeting at Big Grove Brewery, 1225 S Gilbert St., on Thursday, May 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

38 years old and a lifelong resident of Iowa City, is running at-large. She has a passion for community development, access to justice, and the arts. Bergus has committed herself to work for a better community for all of us.
