Some of my favorite things that I have overheard from other law students so far come from a single conversation in a student lounge this week.

• “I really hate when people bring their babies to places where there just shouldn’t be kids. You know, like places you expect quiet. Like church, or restaurants. Or, like, the bus.”
  (Apparently she was not familiar with the song…)
• “Why do you work so hard? If I get a job that I don’t just LOVE, then you know I won’t put any effort into it. Why would I?”
• “I know, that prof is just ADORABLE! And it’s like he knows we’re on facebook or something. He just looks at us and goes, ‘You’re not listening, so let me break it down,’ which is SO helpful when I’ve been tagging myself in photos for the last 10 minutes.”
